Aceites Sandúa will be present at the next edition of Biofach, the world’s largest organic food fair, which takes place in the German city of Nuremberg from 11 to 14 February.
Sandúa will be part of the institutional pavilion representing Navarra, located in Hall-5 stand 251-9.
The Navarrese firm will be attending the fair with extensive experience in the organic sector. All its production on the ‘Capricho Navarro’ olive grove estate in the south of the region is organically farmed.
Sandúa will be showing its wide range of certified organic oils at Biofach, both extra virgin olive and sunflower varieties, with the following characteristics and formats:
– Extra virgin olive oil Capricho by Sandúa Arbequina Bio
This is a premium quality oil, made only with Arbequina olives from organic farming. A pure olive juice, 100% natural, without any additives or preservatives, and with all its health-giving properties.
Yellowish in colour, dense and full-bodied, its aroma is reminiscent of fresh green fruits, with notes of tomato, apple and artichoke. The taste is bitter almond, slightly spicy and sweet and fluid at the end.
It has the EU Organic Farming certification seal and is sold in a 500 ml white glass bottle.
– Extra virgin olive oil 5L Bio
This extra virgin olive oil is made with organic olives of different varieties such as picual, hojiblanca and arbequina.
It has a fruity flavour and a green colour with golden reflections.
This oil is marketed in 5L darkened pet bottles and has the EU organic farming seal.
– Refined High Oleic Sunflower Oil Bio
It is a 100% organic oil that is especially recommended for frying and cooking food at high temperatures.
It has the corresponding EU Organic Farming certificate. It is specially designed for the food industry and the hotel and catering trade. It is served in 1,000L tanks and 25L carafes.
– Organic Refined Sunflower Oil
This is a 100% organic product, made from the crude oil extracted from sunflower seeds. It is especially suitable for frying, stewing, seasoning and dressing any food, as well as for use in the preparation of sauces and in confectionery. Sandúa’s Bio sunflower oil is marketed in 1,000L tanks and 25L carafes. It has the corresponding EU Organic Agriculture certificate.
– Organic canola oil
This oil has a high concentration of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, including oleic and linoleic acid (omega-3), which are recognised for their health benefits.
It is ideal for cooking and frying due to its high resistance to high temperatures.
It should be noted that all Sandúa’s 25-litre containers are made from 100% recycled pet.
Biofach Nuremberg is the world’s leading organic food fair, which has been held annually in the German city since 1990.
In the 2024 edition, it brought together 2,561 exhibitors from 128 countries, in its more than 147,000 m2. Visitors from 130 countries numbered 34,626.
In 2025, 2,559 exhibitors will participate in Biofach, including Aceites Sandúa with its line of organic oils.
