Laura Sandúa, Managing Director of Aceites Sandúa, participates in the 8th National Congress on Innovation in Vegetables

The recently opened building Green Temple, the former church of San Nicolás, hosted the 8th National Congress on Innovation in Vegetables on 29 April. An event that brought together experts, companies and institutions to address the present and future of the agri-food sector with a special focus on sustainability, technology and healthy eating.

Aceites Sandúa was one of the companies invited to participate in the event, represented by its CEO, Laura Sandúa, who took part in the round table Digital transformation and the future of the agri-food sector, together with different executives from the companies Naturvega and The Real Green Food. The round table was moderated by Héctor Barbarin, CEO of CNTA.

During her speech, Laura Sandúa shared the experience of Aceites Sandúa, as a benchmark in the high quality olive oil sector, and the application of digital technology and the weight that these developments have and will have in the company and in the entire agri-food sector.

The congress provided a high-level platform to reflect on the role of the agri-food industry in the transition towards more sustainable, more advanced and innovative models, and always from the hand of its true protagonists, all the people who form part of the agri-food sector.
